This is one of my favorite techniques to improve hip mobility. It may improve hip flexion, IR, Sciatic Neurodynamics, Posterior Chain Mobility, sciatic radiating complaints, as well as hip impingement with squats.
After the Corkscrew, make sure to re-test passive ROM but also re-test any of the functional limitations the patient had. Re-test squat, toe touch, etc. If it's better, give the patient ballistic ASLR for their home program and progress to deadlifts to load up the new mobility!
Better in 4 or see me no more! HSA Cards accepted!
