Why a Blue Nucleus?
Modern Patient Education and Pain Science Research has shown language is important and key for patient recovery. Showing a patient the standard spine model with the dangerous looking big red bulge doesn't inspire confidence in healthy, normal spinal movement. We decided to change that!

I first saw Dr. Fryer's Dynamic Disc models online. We starting communicating back and forth and he realized that his models were so accurate that he created an annular tear, AND the nucleus both extruded and reduced with normal spinal movement! I suggested he create a blue nucleus model so patient's wouldn't be alarmed at the normal red "danger" sign. I love using this in patient education when I am giving them repeated end range loading resets! You should too!
